This site is a showcase for the many types of art I enjoy creating. As you can see my art is very colorful and dimensional while remaining somewhat abstract.

Currently my artistic focus is to imply dimension as realistically as possible, while using striking colors to add to the drama.

I work in acrylics and use my hands, brushes and an airbrush to get the effects I'm looking for. Many of my paintings are large wall hangings that seek to fill a room with bright color and imply space and dimension.

If I could have my way my art would be actual sculptures constructed out of metals, glass and colored plastic. They would be pieces beyond life size, huge sculptures which float at tree top level.

Spectators might come from great distances to admire the pieces from any angle they felt best represented the piece.

Sounds silly, I'm sure but that's just my fantasy, but in looking at some of my pieces you will see that theme represented many times. I may never discover a way to levitate my shapes hundreds of feet up in the air, but as long as I have paint, canvas, and my imagination, I can make that fantasy a reality in two dimensions.
